Delivered a 4-week foundation course in autumn 2024 for 12 participants aged 25–65. Covered exposure, focus techniques, and composition rules using everyday phones. 100% of attendees reported feeling confident adjusting their camera settings independently.
Six-session intensive covering storyboarding, camera movement, audio capture, and lighting for mobile video. 8 content creators worked on personal projects from concept to final edit. Three participants went on to produce videos for their own channels using the techniques they learned.
Hands-on outdoor session teaching composition rules through real-world practice. 10 participants learned framing, leading lines, and subject placement in natural settings. Participants created a portfolio of 5 edited images each, with work displayed in the community centre.
One-on-one guidance helping 6 photographers develop their personal style and technical confidence. Sessions focused on understanding smartphone camera settings, reviewing personal work, and setting realistic practice goals. Each mentee completed a 20-image personal project by programme end.
